Combining the word and bubble shooter genres, shoot hex letters onto the grid to draw words and clear the board.
The game has endless mechanical possibilities and objectives, including bumpers, ghost bubbles, bombs, and movers like conveyor belts and gears. Put together, it makes for an Adventure game experience while always staying true to the puzzly nature of word games.
A game about word frequency, UnusuWord tasks players with finding consecutively rarer and rarer words. Each game starts with a theme, like "First Names" or "Foods". Players are given a random letter each round, looking for theme answers that are rarer than their previous responses. When there is only 1 total search hit on N-Grams or the answer is more common, it's game over!
This game was designed with the primary goal of creating puzzles with personal and shareable solutions. When testing this, I found infinite ways to constrain and entertain myself-- like sampling the word frequency from the 1800s (Christopher may be more common than Reginald now, but what about then?)
